. According to Channels TV, the parents of 19 year old GodwinAyogu, the 300-level student of Cape Coast University, Ghana,
who was found murdered on February 19.
the the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, who has been
working with the Ghanaian Police, told them that some suspects
have been arrested by the police in connection with her son's
murder.
Lilian Ayogu told Channels TV today Monday April 21 that they
were shocked to learn that the people arrested in connection
with her son's murder were not just his friends, but were also
Nigerians.
“Last week, the Nigerian Ambassador over there said that
they have made some headway. He said that they got some
guys and that the funniest part was that they are all
Nigerians. Most of the guys they got were his friends.
“One person had earlier questioned why Godwin’s friends
were on the run after his death,” she said.
