The birth of a conjoined twins by a 40-year-old woman caused
a scene at a hospital in Abia state.
The woman was reported to have delivered at Mben Cottage
Hospital, on Asaga road, Ebem Ohafia in Abia state.
The doctor, Benard Orji who carried out the delivery while
speaking on the birth of the babies described it as a strange
one as the mother had the twins through a caesarean operation
which lasted for two- hours.
Dr. Orji also stated that the woman who was not a registered
patient in the hospital until her delivery did not attend
prenatal clinic which may have caused her twins to be conjoined.
